Modern Family : S02E04

I’m pretty sure we all have had times when we can’t say things to the people we are so close to; our lovers, friends, family members, because we simply do not wanna hurt them.

We tell our girl friends : ” Oh you look great in that!” when she actually wears something that makes her looks 20 years older or meaty-er than she actually is..

We tell our lovers: “I love the gift, dear” when he gives you a shocking pink bag that you would never wear in a million years.

We tell our parents: “You are still very cool and young!” when they try really hard to mingle with your friends.

Modern Family brings that up this week. Im still so amazed by how they turn the simplest things into something really fresh that you can totally relate to. Watching it,m ost of the times, feels like watching a video recording of yours; what you do to people, how you relate to people.

A voice in your mind will chirps: “spot on!” to their witty lines.

It makes you feel that someone out there feels the same way as you do, go through the same things you have to go.

It makes me feel that i am not alone. or weird.
