unusual chilly morning wind in the middle of summer in perth welcomed me this morning. was all excited till i was far from zombie from a light sleep throughout the night. warming weather as morning turned to noon, i was geared up for the city day trip !
Perth cultural centre was the first checkpoint. it instantly took my heart with the shady trees and pretty buildings. browsing through the well-organized exhibits from indigenous people to local wildlife was exciting cause they come in real sizes. to top it off, going around inside the art gallery with edgy sculptures and pattern paintings made me all dreamy. too bad they did not allow any pucture takings. outside were people lazing around under the trees and chatting on the benches. ahhh, how could one not fall for pretty shady parks inside the hectic city.
the short daytrip inside the peaceful area was complemented by the friendliness of people who never lost patience of explaining details to no-sense-of-direction me who strangely enough loves trying all means of public transports when going on trips.
