HERMES’ GIANT KELLY BAG COMES TO KL! In spirit of promoting their latest kelly bag - Hermes is bringing their GIGANTIC kelly bag (it is indeed gigantic when you can go inside it!) which is ready to bring you in an extravagant 2-minutes moving experience! Previously in Hong Kong, now Pavilion KL is hosting the respective kelly; creme hard cloth and brown leather in material this time. As classy and timeless (maybe even more) than their signature Kelly in other colors. More than seeing THE kelly on the window display, you can go inside it and feel how it is like to be something (or someone) who is put inside the bag and brought around in a bicycle ride by a pretty young lady. She could be seen through a video screened in front of where you are seating.. You really feel the sensation of being on a bicycle, including when it hits some bumps along the road. It might give you a tad bit of motion sickness as the angles go right and left from the position of the bag you are in. I was in awe for quite long as I think this was a really genius way of advertising. With no more than the big kelly, plus the video inside, Hermes has successfully made its Kelly memorable, not that it needs more recognition. But yeah, it truly is a great hook for the media, as even I cant wait to blog about this! Another plus point, they give us an orange manila paper with the Kelly pattern so you can make your own paper Kelly at home! Fantastic! Recently was Tod’s D-bag making exhibition, and now this.. Hmm, looks like the fashion houses are trying to appear more reachable to its public..
