Take it, it’s a gift for you..
Outside the school gate, minutes after the school bell rings. Children with backpacks rushing to go home.
A : “Hi brother, we have a gift for you ! Do take this ! “
B : *confused* “Alright. Thanks.” (walking away)
They each takes away a blue book while wondering what it actually is. ‘the gift’ that they do not actually understand. And why on earth a group of unknown people are suddenly so eager to give them the book. No instructions said or written of what they should do the book. They are left alone with their curiosity.
Older children might have an idea in their minds of what ‘the gift’ is actually is, hence choosing to take it or leave it, is based on a rational. But primary school kids? I doubt it.
Went home wondering whether or not what i have been doing is true. Its for a good purpose, yes I do believe in that. People behind it has worked real hard to raise money all over the world, print the book, and with a holy purpose distributing it so more people could receive salvation.
Thing is, is it really justifiable to put people into something they do not know, even if there is no harmful hidden agenda behind it? What if they misinterpret the good will as something evilish that causes them to turn their backs from the Great Power up there?
My questions are left unanswered as it comes back to every individual of how to see such thing. I have no rights to judge, really. I am just grateful for people who actually know what we are trying to do and receive or reject it based on logics. And seeing those people who are willing to sacrifice their time, money, and energy to do what they believe is right, is just a bliss :)
